Below is a list of resources that I have found as I worked on developing my lesson plan. They gave me several ideas and I was able to pass these along to another teacher in my building who did take a look at them.

Teachers TV
http://www.teachers.tv/
This web site has been given a time period when they will be stopping new content (April, 2011)due to government budget, but they will still keep their content so teachers can still access the multitude of resources that will help any teacher in all content areas. I liked the great videos that you can watch along with the links for additional resources.
It is for teachers of all grade levels, but there are resource links that can be shared with students of various grade levels.

WatchKnow
http://www.watchknow.org/
This is a site specifically for students to access and learn from as they locate resources that will teach them more about topics they are learning in the classroom. This is a great site for students who are middle school and high school.

Animoto
http://animoto.com/education
This site is for teachers and students to create video and then use them in the classroom to engage their students. Great video sample shows you how you can use simple photos to create a video that can be used in the classroom. This web site is a good resource for both teachers and students. The teachers can create their own presentations using photos and music they upload to engage the students or introduce students when beginning a new lesson or unit. The students can create their own presentations that are different, but contain that media aspect. This can be used for students from grades 5-12 I am sure!
